MY Inner Monologue: 4/22

My inner monologue goes something liike this…

Stop trying to prove yourself, stop trying to prove yourself, just create. Just create, let that be the mantra, let that be the anthem, let that be the heart of it all. Creation is a dance, a flow, a movement of the spirit. It is not a competition, no, it is not a performance meant to earn approval, to win accolades, to satisfy the expectations of others. It is an expression, a release, a celebration of what it means to be alive.

When you try to prove yourself, you become entangled in a web of doubt and comparison, yes, a web that stifles the very essence of creativity. You look outward for validation, seeking the nods, the praises, the affirmations of the world. But creativity is not about approval; it is about authenticity. It is about the truth that flows from within, the ideas that bubble to the surface, the emotions that demand to be expressed. 

Stop trying to prove yourself, just create. Creation is liberation, a freeing of the mind, a unbinding of the heart. When you create, you tap into a wellspring of inspiration, a reservoir of possibility. You express your joys, your sorrows, your triumphs, your struggles. You give voice to the thoughts swirling in your mind, the visions dancing in your dreams. 

Just create, create without the burden of expectation. Let your work be a reflection of you, a mirror of your inner world. It is in the act of creation that you find clarity, that you find purpose, that you find connection. Each brushstroke, each word, each note, it is all a part of the journey, a part of the exploration of self. 

Do not let the fear of judgment hold you back. Do not let the anxiety of comparison stifle your voice. There is no right or wrong in creation; there is only expression, only the act of bringing forth what lies within. When you stop trying to prove yourself, you create space for experimentation, for risk-taking, for authenticity. You allow yourself to play, to explore, to discover, and in that playfulness, you find the spark of true creativity.

So, stop trying to prove yourself, just create. Create for the joy of it, create for the love of it, create for the need to express what is uniquely yours. The world is waiting for your voice, your vision, your art. In the end, it is not about accolades or recognition; it is about being true to yourself, about honoring the creative spirit that resides within you.

Just create, release the need for validation, embrace the freedom that comes with self-expression. The journey of creation is the journey of you, and that journey is beautiful, yes, it is beautiful in its authenticity, its rawness, its truth. So step into that space, step into your power, stop trying to prove yourself, and just create.
