PURCHASING & SHIPPING INFO
Purchasing a piece of art is a special kind of transaction. I want to make the experience as smooth and easy as possible. I will personally fulfill each order securely and with great care. All of the details and particulars of the process of buying your artwork from me are outlined below. If you have any further questions or concerns, please email via the contact form or click the button below.
-
Q: Does any of your work need to be behind glass?
A: All of my work(including collages) have a varnish sealant and do not have to be behind glass. If you buy an unframed piece, it is your personal preference whether you choose to frame it with glass or not. Your framer can give you information based on your preferences.
-
Q: Is all your artwork framed?
A: No. Some of my larger paintings and collages are on gallery-wrapped canvas. Occasionally I may frame a larger canvas—information on whether a piece is framed or not will appear in the gallery for that piece. If framed, there will be a detailed description and photos of the framing.
-
Q: I don’t see any paintings listed in your shop, but I want to purchase something…
A: If there is nothing listed in the shop, that means that I have sold out. I don’t do prints, at the moment, so please check back for new collection releases or sign up for email updates in the resources tab. Thanks!!
-
Q: How are payments made?
A: All purchases are made directly through this website. All purchases are processed via Square, Afterpay, or Paypal in US Dollars. You don’t need an account with Square or Paypal. Both take regular credit and debit cards for non-account holders. You also have the option to use Apple Pay if preferred. Using Afterpay for a convenient payment plan does require you set up an account. The process is simple and very user-friendly. I do not store any of your payment details. Everything is managed securely through each payment site. Each service will automatically generate a receipt for your purchase which will appear in your email.
-
Q: I have placed my order; how long until I receive my artwork?
A: Original artwork will be packed and shipped within 5 business days. As soon as your art ships, I will send you a confirmation email that includes a tracking number. Follow this tracking number to stay informed about when your artwork will be delivered. Unfortunately, I can not accurately predict exactly when your artwork will arrive; once it’s out of my hands., it’s really up to the carrier. That said, I will always do my best to give you all of the information you need to track your package.
-
Q: Is shipping included?
A: No, artwork has an estimated shipping cost added at check out, unless otherwise stated in the artwork info.
-
Q: Can I collect my artwork from your studio?
A: You can. If you live locally here in Northern Colorado, I’m even willing to make a delivery! Please email me, and we can arrange a time for you to pick up your artwork or arrange a day for delivery.
-
Q: What about larger artwork?
A: I rarely paint extra large artwork; however, this could be necessary to clarify in collaboration or commission instances. Some carriers have limits on dimensions, so certain pieces have individual requirements. Shipping costs for large artworks need to be quoted individually—if this is the case, it will be clearly stated in the artwork info. If you see a larger piece that you are interested in purchasing, please contact me before purchasing. I will then contact you via email to discuss special shipping requirements before the artwork is shipped.
-
Q: Can you ship internationally?
A: Not at this time.
-
Q: What if my painting arrives and I don’t like it?
A: Hopefully, this doesn’t happen, but you have 14 days to contact me by email and request a refund if it does. Once a return has been agreed upon, you are responsible for packing and arranging return delivery using the same service I used to send it. The full cost of the return delivery is your responsibility. Once the artwork has been safely returned, I will refund your payment within 14 days.
-
Q: What if my painting arrives damaged?
A: All work is carefully and securely packaged. The artwork will be insured if any damages occur during delivery. If you receive work that has been damaged in transit, please reject the carrier's package and get in touch with me via email. Alternatively, if the artwork is damaged inside, please contact me within 7 days and, if possible, send photographs so we can discuss the next step. At this time, I cannot offer refunds or returns on any works sent outside the continental U.S.
