"I approach my role as an artist with great seriousness, but I maintain an enduring sense of joy and delight in my studio. I conscientiously strive to stay socially and politically aware of my environment. When I grapple with discomfort in life, my solution is to use my art to transform those emotions."

My abstract works seamlessly merge painting, drawing, mark-making, and weaving. They feature a harmonious blend of geometric and organic shapes and lines, created through the layering of ink, acrylic, textiles, and other mediums, reminiscent of the gestural surface marks often seen in Abstract Expressionism. In my art, I convey the dynamic interplay between colors and lines and emphasize their interconnectedness. My goal is to capture a layered richness, a sense of temporal texture, and the vibrancy of colors. This approach embodies a spirit of generosity and infinite possibilities, reflecting the shared history of memory and human experience.
