It’s A Paradox: 1/24
From the journal January 2024:
One thing I’ve learned is that life is a paradox, a beautiful paradox, an intricate dance of contrasts. In order to heal, you must hurt, and in order to love, you must break open, break open wide, and let the world in. And in order to have peace, you must face chaos, face it head-on like a storm, like a tornado swirling around, swirling within.
Never regret any experience in your life, no, never regret, for each moment is a thread, a stitch in the fabric of your being. It is always meant to bring you balance, balance in the way that only life can teach, a lesson layered like the petals of a flower unfolding, revealing the depths, the depths of existence.
The light always follows, yes, even when the shadows stretch long and the night feels endless. There is a rhythm, a pulse to it all, a cadence that echoes through the chaos, through the pain, through the love and the breaking open. It is a rhythm that reminds us to keep moving, to keep breathing, to keep embracing the paradox of being alive.
Life is a paradox. The joy and the sorrow entwined like lovers in a dance, the laughter and the tears weaving together into a song, a song that sings of resilience, of the beauty found in imperfection. And so I embrace it, embrace the paradox, embrace the complexity of it all, for it is where the truth lies, where the heart beats strongest.
In this understanding, I find freedom, freedom to feel deeply, to love fiercely, to heal with the knowledge that every wound is a doorway. A doorway to something greater, something more profound, something that leads to balance, to understanding, to the light that follows even in the darkest of times.
One thing I’ve learned is that life is a paradox, a beautiful, messy, glorious paradox. And in that paradox, I find my place, my purpose, my voice. I celebrate the confusion, I celebrate the healing, I celebrate the love, the breaking open, and I know, I know with certainty that the light will always follow.
